لم يتسنَ الحصول على تعليق فوري من منظمة "العدالة للاعبين" بشأن هذا التطور. وقد حظي قرار الانسحاب بتأييد واسع من اتحادات اللاعبين في النمسا وبلجيكا والبوسنة والهرسك وكرواتيا وجمهورية التشيك والدنمارك وفنلندا وفرنسا والمجر وأيرلندا وإيطاليا وليتوانيا وهولندا والنرويج وصربيا وسلوفينيا والسويد.

**FIFA Dodges Major European Lawsuit with Landmark Governance Agreement Granting Players Influence**
In a significant move that reshapes the European football landscape, player unions from 17 countries, including major powers like France, Italy, and the Netherlands, announced today, Thursday, their withdrawal of support for a massive class-action lawsuit against the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA). This strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed between FIFA and the International Federation of Professional Footballers (FIFPRO) on June 10th last year and is effective until December 2031. The statement further elaborated: "In light of this new situation, and without prejudice to the personal and independent rights of individual players to pursue their own compensation claims, the undersigned unions believe that institutional promotion and continued endorsement of the class action are no longer justified, as the governance objectives that motivated it have been achieved."
An immediate comment from "Justice for Players" could not be obtained regarding this development. The decision to withdraw was widely supported by player unions in Austria, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Norway, Serbia, Slovenia, and Sweden.
It is worth noting that FIFA had announced in early June last year that it had reached a final out-of-court settlement with Lassana Diarra, thereby resolving its legal dispute with him.
